How much does it cost to hire
SE Strings?
SE Strings provide a bespoke service, starting from £300. Our rates are highly competitive and completely transparent. Quotes are tailored to each event and we are happy to price any options of interest. They're always inclusive of all costs... So no surprises and no obligation. Contact us directly for our best deals.
How much notice is needed to make a booking?
SE Strings employ a collective of talented musicians, who are all top professionals. This allows us to fulfil all of our bookings, even at very short notice.
What will the musicians wear?
SE Strings can match your colour scheme or branding... We will do our best to accommodate any requests, but if we must purchase something special a quote will be given to cover the expense.
How do i make a booking with SE Strings?
Firstly, get in touch with details of your event for your personalised quote. We will provide a total price, inclusive of all costs. Should you wish to proceed you can secure your booking with a deposit and by agreeing to our full T&Cs.
Can SE Strings provide all the equipment?
SE Strings will bring almost everything... We only request an armless chair for each performer and a shelter for any outdoor performances. A gazebo or large parasols are best for this.
What parts of a wedding ceremony do you play for?
SE Strings usually play for guest arrival, for the bridal party entrance, during the signing of the register and exit processional. Often we will change location at the venue to perform while you and your guests enjoy drinks and canapés. Less frequently we have been booked to provide background music during your wedding breakfast, for cake cutting and for the first dance.
Can SE Strings perform outdoors?
SE Strings are happy to play outside, weather permitting. For all outdoor performances we require shelter, such as a gazebo or some large parasols. Venues usually provide this on your behalf. Our musicians play on the finest instruments which can be very expensive. Therefore they must be protected from the elements.
Can I make special requests for the music?
SE Strings encourage you to choose from our large repertoire list or ask us to source any of favourite songs. We love learning and performing new songs. We offer each client one complimentary commission.
Do SE Strings have insurance?
SE Strings have public liability insurance up to £10 million. Our own equipment is all insured and all our electronics are PAT tested.
